Folks, THEY are covering up Fallujah with this cooked up JOB GROWTH! Whenever things go bad in Iraq, then THEY pull the wool over the eyes of the US Public with the Economy! The change integral parts of the DJIA to make the numbers escalate faster. They claim RECORD JOB GROWTH while NEW JOBLESS CLAIMS RAISE THE UNEMPLOYMENT RATE TO 5.7% You will note: Whenever things DON'T go so well in Iraq such as in Fallujah with 4 Americans hung like BEEF! Then ALL OF A SUDDEN OUT COMES MORE MIRACULOUS ECONOMIC NEWS! Last time it was OVERBLOWN Productivity & THIS time it's RECORD JOB GROWTH even though the UNEMPLOYMENT RATE WENT UP!These of course are simple NEOCON tactics to take peoples minds off of Iraq! THEY figure we are ALL selfish & greedy anyway, so we will FORGIVE BU$H because he created a fraction of the jobs he lost in 3 and 1/2 years at the end of his term and re-elect him. Never mind that he stole the White House in 2000 after pummeling both John McCaine & Al Gore. Never mind that his Regime ignored "ominous chatter" prior to 9/11. Never mind about the 16 words that came out of his mouth that led to 4 CHARRED Bodies hung in Fallujah! NEVER MIND THAT HE LIES! HE CREATED JOBS!...WELL WHOOP-DEE-DOO!....BILL CLINTON & AL GORE CREATED 23 MILLION JOBS IN 8 YEARS! Speaking from experience, MY JOB SUCKS! I hate to sound like a broken record, but if I don't find better work then MY FIGHT WILL BE OVER ANYWAY! It's an UPHILL BATTLE FOLKS! And I may FALL on the way! If I go this time it will be the last time! AL GORE HEEEELLLP!

John Dean's new book "Worse Than WaterGate" is definitely a MUST READ just like Clarke's book! How do I know? Because the NEOCON BOOTLICKERS are trying their BEST to cut it down! Go ahead! NO PUBLICITY IS "BAD" PUBLICITY when it comes to books! So the more you morons trash it the more likely more copies will be sold! John Dean had an interview with a certain Neocon Paranoid Bootlicker that we all knew, and John Dean basically laughed at this fool for the entire interview! Boy did that really pi** him off! That's what we should all be doing to this fool! LAUGHING AT HIM! He thinks he can read minds and tell what people are thinking! He ruminates and surmises about points when he was NEVER there, and all he does is try to create "patriotic violent flag waving drama" for the minority of the population that actually listens to him! Like John Dean I LISTEN FOR LAUGHS! By the way...I hope everybody did see the very kind words the 9/11 Comission said about Mr. Gore! HE WAS VERY FORTHRIGHT & CANDID! Why? BECAUSE UNLIKE BU$HRON AND CHENEYBURTON....HE HAD NOTHING TO HIDE!

Take to the streets, my a**. Nobody seems to be listening!
What will it take? Reinstatement of a mandatory draft? Thousands killed in Iraq? Irrefutable proof that the administration was asleep at the wheel before 9/11? A 1930s-magnitude depression? Another major terrorist attack on U.S. soil?
Wake up, people! No more sitting back in your armchairs while other people do the dirty work. Do whatever you have to do to be sure everyone knows that BUSH HAS GOT TO GO!

We won't let a draft happen, WILL WE?
Chris, What do you think of S89 that is going through the Senate?
I've already exploded over this issue and have to chill about it lest I go nuts.
Call your Senator today..whether they be dem or repug...vote against them if they vote Yea for this bill!

story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&cid=578&u=/nm/20040416/ts_nm/bush_blair_dc_2And BU$H says Kerry waffles? He is having a major disagreement with Blair over supporting Sharon and keeping the West Bank settlements. Blair says this will complicate MiddleEast Peace. More proof that BU$H wants to RU$H his "Roadmap to Nowhere" into some kind of agreement before election time so his Cabal & the ATTACK MACHINE will have something to CROW about! Well it just isn't that easy Dubya. The rest of the world doesn't base it's decisions on US election time tables. Also BU$H is waffling and finally taking a UN suggestion that an interim Iraqi government be formed as a caretaker until the beginning of next year(my how convenient! Trying to take Iraq off of the table right George?) Maybe all the bloodshed changed your mind! That and bin-Laden offering an olive branch to Europe in exchange for troop withdrawls. When you going to pull OBL out of the hat Karl? In October? Fascinating how bin-Laden's truce coincides with that June 30th deadline for Iraq isn't it? Those nations who refuse will be attacked by al-Quaida, and the populations of those nations will blame their leaders for not taking a deal from a "snake". And folks even though I know I just returned, I will be taking a needed break to look for work. A better job is hard to find since BU$H decimated the technology sectors. Most of THOSE jobs were outsourced to New Delhi & Bhopal. You basically have to FIGHT for ANY job you get! You may not like Kerry, but at least he is promising 10 million jobs in 4 years! Let's see if he can accomplish it! Support him! I would have supported DR. Dean if HE won the primaries even though I had reservations about him!

Thanks for asking about my injury, Paraclete. I'm beginning to heal, let's just say that. Twelve weeks in a wheelchair and I'm chomping at the bit here, but today for the first time I was allowed to get up and walk with a walking cast and crutches . . . very slowly. I actually was able to go to my daughter's softball game. Gorgeous day, too. Glad to hear you got your cast off and the old arm looks okay. As for this draft business, they're not joking. The following showed up in my e-mail box yesterday from the PTO of my son's high school: If we're getting to this point, folks, you KNOW they mean business. And man, this is scary business.

Paraclete--I've got people over at AGDems telling me that the draft is necessary to get people to wake up to what's happening in Iraq and to put pressure on the administration to get us out. They use Vietnam as an example. I'm sorry, but I don't believe that one drop of blood should have to be shed to make people wake up about this whole horrible mess. Kudos to Gary Trudeau for making people aware of what's going on. They're beginning to talk about the possibility of a draft on CNN and in other media. We have to stop those bills before they even come up for a vote. We have to get the word out. Bush thinks he's resolute? Ha! He ain't seen nothing yet. Just wait until the wrath of the people of this country is turned on him and his crooked administration.
March on Washington? You know I will! I'll be out of this wheelchair and off these crutches in a couple of months. You won't be able to hold me back!
[glow=blue,2,300]LET ME AT HIM![/glow]

Tami Silico, the contractor who took this photo was FIRED because she dared to show the US Public what the Pretzel is hiding from our daily view! And after we get rid of him in November, I am for taking EVERY AM Radio Talk Show Shill, strapping a machine gun on their backs and DROPPING them into downtown Fallujah! The draft builds character? YOU ARE TOTALLY INSANE! WHY DON'T YOU GO INSTEAD? Maybe THEY will spirit YOU back in a BOX! AND BURY YOU SILENTLY IN A CORNER! Is THIS the way we HONOR our WAR DEAD? BU$H! YOU MAKE ME SICK!

We have a couple of very good friends who are Republicans (I know, it's a difficult relationship), and when they came over last weekend to bring fixings for fajitas on the grill (bless their hearts--I still can't cook much in my wheelchair), my husband and I were feeling very low because we'd been hearing and reading all this stuff about the very real possibility of reinstating the draft. So, unfortunately, we ended up in a discussion with these friends about the draft and the war, and at one point, in response to my saying that it would be girls as well as boys (they have a beautiful 13-year-old girl), Bob (the friend) says, "Well, I think she'd look great in a uniform." My husband wanted to say, "Yes, and would she also look great in a body bag?" but he refrained. I don't know. It's like there's this giant disconnect there. I don't think most people (particularly supporters of the war) appreciate that people are getting killed over there all the time. I think that if there were any REAL possibility of his daughter going over and being on the frontlines, he wouldn't have had such a glib response to what I'd said. It's amazing, too, because his mother's only brother was killed in WWII, and he knows that his grandmother was never right again after that. I don't know what it's going to take to get people to wake up. I do think that if photos of the homecoming war dead were permitted the message might begin to sink in. It was Bush the Father that started that ban on photos of the caskets. Clinton repealed it, and Bush the Idiot Son reinstated it. Respect for the families of the dead, my ass. If they filmed the funerals, that would be an invasion of privacy. But photographing anonymous caskets? I don't think so. Papa Bear, may we all vomit en masse.
