Earthmother knows this and this point has been brought home many times. She had already offered herself up for sacrifice many times.

Chris do you feel no grief for the damage Reagan did to our country and the generations it'll take to undo that damage? Why are you falling for the far right's re-writing of history in order to cover up the terrible things Reagan did? Our country is suffering terribly and needlessly because of what Reagan did. There's no getting around tha fact. I'm really tired of Earthmother's false attacks on Al Gore. Erin, if Earthmother knows that Al Gore got the most votes in Florida then why did she write there wasn't any proof when the truth is there is proof beyond all resonable doubt that Al Gore got the most votes. Again Earthmother's claim that there's no proof that Al Gore got the most votes in Florida has no basis in fact. I'm really tired of these attacks against me and having to defend the truth against Earthmother's false attacks n Al Gore.

For the record, I said indisputable proof. There's plenty of disputable proof. That's why we ended up with the problem in the first place. It's being disputed all over the place! You know and I know that Gore won, as does everyone on this board. But the proof that he won remains disputed, and therein lies the problem.

Ronald Reagan Jr. regarding his opinion of the Bushes riding Reagan's legacy. "The Bush people have no right to speak for my father, particularly because of the position he's in now," he said during a recent interview with Salon. "Yes, some of the current policies are an extension of the 80's. But the overall thrust of this administration is not my father's -- these people are overly reaching, overly aggressive, overly secretive, and just plain corrupt. I don't trust these people." www.salon.com/news/feature/2003/04/14/ron_reagan/index.htmlGloves off in Reagan stem war Patti to W: 'Get out of way' The family of former President Ronald Reagan declared political war on the White House yesterday over President Bush's ban on stem cell research. Patti Davis, Reagan's daughter from his storybook marriage to Nancy Reagan, said yesterday that her mother "has emerged as a central figure in the effort to get the federal government out of the way." "If that phrase about the government sounds familiar, it should," Davis wrote in Newsweek. "I grew up hearing my father say often that the government should get out of the way." www.nydailynews.com/news/wn_report/story/202721p-174914c.html

Great post. I really like Ron Jr. He is a regular on MSNBC, and I really enjoy his commentary. He gave a great eulogy last week when he blasted Bush about wearing his faith on his sleeve and using it for political purposes.
God Bless Ron Jr.

Chris wrote: I always thought her petition made no sense. I really didn't understand what the objective was. To "restore" him to the presidency. There is no way in hell that it is legal, constitutional, or even ethical. Gore wouldn't even go for it. Can you imagine what type of press the US would get around the world? The US is above that. The 2000 election is something I and all of us will never get over. I doubt Al will. But you can unwrite 250 years worth of the rule of law. Gore would have no part of it. He always puts his country ahead of personal adventures, no matter what the cost.
Chris, I apologized to you and thought your apology to me was sincere. Why then have you not removed these hurtful words after I told you they hurt me, and I asked you to please sincerely give this effort a chance, and explained in full on the PFG forum what this petition entails? Did you just say that, or did you mean it? If you meant it, then please remove these posts that talk about me when I am not a topic, and that demean a sincere effort. I personally don't understand how they are even related to the topic of this thread. I removed all posts on my forum that in any way may have offended you (which was only one compared to the many I have read here), and I would appreciate the same from you. The words here being spoken about this petitition are erroneous, misleading, and more than likely have led to some not signing it, which is wrong. It is then disengenous of you to come to my site and apologize just to shut me up, then leave all these posts here. I will then expect them removed if your words were sincere. Otherwise, I will then be within my full rights to respond in kind on our forum to set the misconceptions straight.
Thank you.

Of course I meant my apology. I just want this to end. It is demoralizing and childish. I think we can both spend our time more wisley. However, you must always remember, I never lie, never.
