This is from an article about Kerry winning in the southern Primaries today... excerpt...
Officials familiar with the discussions, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Dean was prepared to endorse Kerry, campaign on Kerry's behalf and ask his contributors to donate to the presumptive nominee. But that was contingent on the outcome of the meeting, and Kerry's willingness to help court the faction of Dean's supporters still skeptical of his commitment to reform, the officials said.
If the meeting goes well, as expected, aides for Dean and Kerry would spend a week or so orchestrating an endorsement, the officials said.
"Dean has been very clear he wants to be part of the team, he wants to help win," Kerry said. "John Edwards has been very clear he wants to be part of the team."

Here is the link:http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/ap/20040310/ap_on_el_pr/kerry&cid=694&ncid=716 HE IS THEN A HYPOCRITE. Change the party, huh? I'm disgusted. Let him endorse "Bush is an enjoyable person" Kerry. His political significance is now nil as far as I am concerned. That then means PFG will most certainly be here to work harder. It is obvious that even those who say we need to change this party were only taking us for a ride. You don't do it by endorsing the DLC pick! Dean to endorse a man who voted for the very war he spoke out against. Dean to endorse a man who is a member of the same fraternity Bush is from, that is suspected of very sinister dealings in the high eschelons of this country's governmental, financial, and judicial systems' policies which have caused war and death. Dean to support the man who trashed Al Gore, the man who endorsed him! Who really are the REAL DEMS then? Not those who SELL OUT, that is for sure. At this point, I am wondering if Dean even approached Al Gore out of true friendship, or because at the time, millions were against the war in Iraq, Al Gore spoke out against it FIRST, and he knew he could capitalize on that for himself. No wonder he shot up so fast on the Internet then, only to fall when he needed to prove himself. That wasn't Al Gore's fault, that was HIS fault. And now he shows his true colors. Well, I won't support Kerry up til November. We WILL continue to support Gore, Democracy, justice, and giving this party and country back to the people FOR REAL. How can they be so BLIND? This isn't just about beating Bush, this is about restoring what was stolen from us! Kerry was part of that theft! I sure hope there are some real and true Democrats left out there who will join us! And to think his followers are waiting with anticipation to hear some big plan to take this party back. WHAT A LETDOWN THEY ALL ARE. I sure hope Al Gore doesn't tell his supporters we have to get behind Kerry now. Sorry, Mr. Gore, AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN. He gets my vote against Bush in November, and that is it. Jan FED UP WITH THE HYPOCRISY

Jan, I agree and its time people realize that each hold the power of our future... NO DOUBT ABOUT IT... I too will not support Kerry UNLESS I HAVE NO OTHER VIABLE CHOICE IN NOVEMBER... Until then, I will continue to fight for my voice in this country. Dean is a hypocrit if this rumor is true. Have we become so shocked and awed by this adminstration that we fear to voice it? I may be shocked by I AM NOT AWED and I will NEVER FORGET what they did in 2000. A hundred years could go by and this wll be marked as a TRUE LOWPOINT in the people's country, the day democracy died. PEOPLE NEED TO STAND UP FOR THEMSELVES AND STOP THE MISLEADING AND MANIPULATION PROCESS THAT HAS TAKEN HOLD OF US LITERALLY AT THE THROATS ;D ;D Will the American people allow this environment of tricks, lies, deceit and evil ways to work into our hearts and our minds? I will stand up for myself, will you? -GoreLeadership

Good question, Jan. Where is Gore? I've been wondering that since he "stood in" for Edwards on Feb. 22. Has anyone seen him or heard from him? I thought maybe he and Dean were scheming in private about their plan to take back America, but if it's true that Dean is getting ready to endorse Kerry, then I guess not. And please, don't ever tell me that Gore is getting ready to endorse Kerry, too. Yes, after the convention, all of them will have to get on board in order to get Bush out, but until then, what happened to our voice? Who is acting on our behalf? I hope Gore continues to, and I'm extremely disappointed about Dean in the meantime.

Oh, god, I just read the article at Dean's Blog for America, where it's quite clear that Dean has sold out and will be endorsing Kerry any day now.
****************
That doesn't leave much doubt, does it. Dean will be joining forces with Kerry to beat Bush, and that's the end of that. My question is: Where does Gore stand on all this?

He doesn't need to endorse Kerry to fight Bush, and neither do WE. Jan

Kerry Comment Riles Bush Campaign 1 hour, 58 minutes ago
By MIKE GLOVER, Associated Press Writer
WASHINGTON - Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry (news - web sites) called Wednesday for deeper tax cuts for the middle class than proposed by President Bush (news - web sites) and described his Republican critics as "the most crooked ... lying group I've ever seen." The chairman of Bush's re-election campaign called on Kerry to apologize "for this negative attack."
After urging labor leaders to support his campaign, Kerry met with one-time rival Howard Dean (news - web sites) to discuss an endorsement and what role the former Vermont governor might play in his campaign.
Hoping to win over Dean, the presumptive nominee's staff greeted the fallen rival with a round of applause as he walked into Kerry headquarters. The two men shook hands, embraced briefly and raised joined hands for the cameras.
After the 45-minute meeting, officials close to the talks said Dean will endorse Kerry, with only the timing in question. The officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the best time might be March 25 when the presidential candidates join former Presidents Clinton and Carter for a Democratic Party fund-raiser.
"I will work closely with John Kerry to make sure we beat George Bush in November and turn our country around," Dean said in a statement that did not specifically mention an endorsement. "There is a lot we can do together to rebuild an America that belongs to all of us, and we'll be saying more about what our amazing grass-roots network can do to help with his goal." Dean has set March 18 to announce details of his grass-roots advocacy organization.
Kerry was scheduled to meet with another key rival, John Edwards (news - web sites), on Thursday.
Anticipating their meeting, the Bush campaign issued "Howard Dean's Greatest Hits on John Kerry," a 10-item recounting of Dean's criticisms. The quotes from news stories include Dean's statement in January that "you're not going to change America by nominating somebody who's a Washington insider whose biggest long suit is talk."
Kerry had 2,037 delegates after sweeping four Southern primaries Tuesday, an Associated Press analysis showed. He wasn't expected to reach 2,162, the number needed to secure the nomination, until next week.
Earlier Wednesday in Chicago, Kerry toughened his comments about his GOP critics after a supporter urged him to take on Bush. "Let me tell you, we've just begun to fight," Kerry said. "We're going to keep pounding. These guys are the most crooked, you know, lying group I've ever seen. It's scary."
Bush-Cheney campaign chairman Marc Racicot called on Kerry to apologize.
"Senator Kerry's statement today in Illinois was unbecoming of a candidate for the presidency of the United States of America, and tonight we call on Senator Kerry to apologize to the American people for this negative attack," Racicot said in a statement. "On the day that Senator Kerry emerged as his party's presumptive nominee, the president called to congratulate him. That goodwill gesture has been met by attacks and false statements."
Kerry spokesman David Wade said earlier that Kerry was referring to Republican critics in general and that the comment was intended to convey the message that "he's a Democrat who fights back."
The Bush-Cheney campaign didn't see it that way. "John Kerry has run a relentlessly negative campaign from the very beginning and this comment is completely consistent with that," the campaign said.
In a satellite address to top AFL-CIO leaders meeting in Florida, Kerry said a "Bush Tax" stemming from the president's economic policies has driven up costs for working families. He vowed to reverse that trend while asking those making more than $200,000 a year to pay the same taxes they paid under President Clinton (news - web sites), effectively repealing portions of a tax cut Bush pushed through Congress.
Kerry also proposed creating a $50 billion fund to help states provide relief from state and local taxes for working families that he said have been struggling.
"Under George Bush's policies, middle-class families are paying more," he said. "America's middle class can't afford a tax increase. That's why we're going to give the middle class a tax cut."
In response, the Bush campaign accused Kerry of favoring broad tax increases that would affect all taxpayers.
"John Kerry has voted for higher taxes 350 times and his numbers for new spending don't add up," said Steve Schmidt, a Bush campaign spokesman. "His campaign-trail promises mean he is going to raise taxes by at least $900 billion." It is the first time the Bush campaign has put a number on tax hikes it says Kerry favors.
Kerry said a middle-class tax cut would do far more to spark the economy than what Bush has pushed, by helping people afford college costs, pay for health care and make ends meet.
"If this president wants to make this election about taxes after he's cut billions for billionaires and given middle-class families a larger share to pay, we're ready for that fight," he said.
Kerry also addressed Democratic National Committee (news - web sites) staff, seeking to end speculation that chairman Terry McAuliffe's role will be diminished. "No one can do what this man has done," Kerry said, according to Kerry and DNC aides in the private meeting.

In article above, no mention of Gore at all. Looks like Carter and Clinton are endorsing him as well at that fundraiser

Of course Clinton and Carter and all the Democrat big-wigs will endorse Kerry and urge others to do so. The only game in town now is to get Bush out, and the only way to do that is to get behind the "presumptive nominee." I hate to say it, but I believe even Gore will eventually work for Kerry. Maybe he'll stay out of it until after the convention since he already officially endorsed another candidate, but I think Gore will do whatever he needs to do to get Bush out.
His silence during this time is odd, though. I can only assume that he's lying low until after the convention, when every Democrat in the country will have to get behind the nominee and push together to get Bush out.

Well, today, I am now rapidly becoming an ex-everything. after learning of the sell-out by Dean...which I'd already surmised...I completely severed the umbilical cord to the Dean for America blog. Told them they were all Sheeples while doing it. So. Meanwhile, as regarding our....I mean, the DNC, even thinking about the fact I belong to this particular party, is making me feel dirty, like a slime ball, uncouth, cheap, dirty, negative, etc..... Had to notice that in the letter Dean sent out via email to all his sheeple, that in the get with it paragraph he used a different terminology than he'd used in the past. Before the fall of the Howard Dean run for president, Dean always said "take back your country" "change things for the better" "you have the power to change things"....Now....in the letter it's; "I'm going to help John Kerry turn this country around...." Where is the brilliant young genius, Chris Jackson? Is chris a guy or a girl? Is chris really Earthmother? I loved Chris on the DFA forum so much, he ..or she wrote so intelligently and strongly passionately and honestly, I think Chris should become our new grassroots leader. Just an idea. (we need a leader who won't sell-out) His silence during this time is odd, though. I can only assume that he's lying low until after the convention, when every Democrat in the country will have to get behind the nominee and push together to get Bush out.

LOL, bellfacto!
I assure, you Chris and I are not the same people! Chris is very much a he, and I wish I were his age! I've got about 35 years on him, and I'm very much a she.
It's pretty safe to say the main thing we have in common is our respect for Al Gore.
