Hey guys, just recieved a letter from Gore's office on behalf of Al. I gave the letter to him at MTSU in Nov. I want to express my thanks to Al in having the letter sent. Not to many people like Gore would keep in contact with someone like me as the way he has done.
Dear Mr. Jackson:
On behalf of Former Vice President Al Gore, I want to thank you for your gracious letter and continued support. The Former Vice President appreciates the trust and confidence you have expressed in him.
Thank you also for inviting the Former Vice President to speak at your high school commencement in 2005. At the moment, he committed to a number of different ventures, which keep him traveling extensively. In addition to teaching at two universities here in Tennessee, he is also involved in a number of other endeavors, which will prevent him form attending your graduation ceremonies.
Again, thank you for you writing the Former Vice President. He joins me in wishing you continued success.

Hey Chris, This was very nice of him to send you a response. Let me be the first to say that the title gave me a near heart attack, because when I saw it, I thought he was sending us a letter to tell us to stop what we were doing. Thank god that was not the case, and he was just giving us yet another example of why we all admire him so. Paula

Nice cover President Gore! He won't be able to attend a high school graduation ceremony during the summer of 2005 because he will be entirely too busy in the White House putting our country back on track! [glow=red,2,300]WE LOVE YOU AL!!![/glow]

Thanks guys! That is what sets Al apart from others. How many politicians would keep in contact with kids like me? To be honest, I didn't even expect him to reply to my letter about my graduation. But for him to have his office to send me a letter on behalf of him telling me that he is aware of my intense support for him and he appreciates it and he even reconized my request! Do you think W would even think twice about attending a teen's graduation? Hell no! Things like this is what sets Al apart from others!
