Hey, Freebird! Glad to have you here! I enjoy reading your posts at AGDems. Needless to say, I'm the same ole earthmom here as I am there. I never understood why people take different names on these boards, but whatever. And btw, Erin. You're Goreforever over there? I think maybe you wrote me that in an e-mail, but I must've forgotten. Who can keep all this straight? Anyway, welcome again Freebird. Now I'm going to have that song going through my head all day . . . aaaaahhhhhh

It's so nice to see "familier" faces Hmmm......I have to admit I suspected this.....LOL! IT IS COOL Earthmother and Erin to be able to express myself amongst "FRIENDS"! Yea, Skynards the best and the "originals" were role models for FREEDOM LOVERS everywhere! I'm sorry I got a late start today. I was busy in the A.M. and "quite frankly" ALL THE EVENTS IN BAGDAD (today) have just made me weary Finally, after catching a little of CHENEYS speech on CNN...........MY DAY WAS RUINED ERRRRRRRRRR! ;D Oh well, tomorrow is another day..........Andrew

Yes, Andrew, you absolutely can express yourself freely here! We are all friends, and while we may have our little . . . ahem . . . disagreements sometimes . . . hey, what friends don't? We're so happy to have you here.
I keep going back and forth as to whether I think Kerry or Bush will win, and of course, anything can happen, but I have a feeling we're all going to still be needing each other come November, regardless of what happens. It's important for us all to stay together. We have many battles ahead of us.

One day at a time, yes, but the rebuilding can't begin until we get this thief and his band of crooks out of office. And even then, it's going to take a helluva lot of work. When I was younger and the Repugs would win, especially Nixon and Reagan, I used to take comfort in the idea that no single president could really do that much damage during his term. Little did I know. Of course, it doesn't help that the executive, legislative, and judicial branches are all controlled by neo-cons, and certainly if the Dems. had the majority in Congress we wouldn't be in AS bad shape as we are, and geez, if it hadn't been for the conservative element in the Supreme Court, none of this would've happened in the first place, but then I also have to remember that the Dems. in Congress wimped out when they handed Bush a blank check to wage this war, and they are partly to blame as well. Phew. How was that for a run-on thought?
Anyway, we must work to get change from the top down, and it's going to be a hard fight because they're so crooked and dishonest, but we can only hope that the American people wake up before November and see what liars and thieves we have running this country.

WOW!!! Your "WITH-IT" TODAY Earthmother! You GO-GIRL !!!! There are SO many factors that fell into place with this Administration that one could write a book! Dumb moves by the DEMOCRATS and the VOTING AMERICANS would fill several chapters.......no doubt! Kerry is a fighter and I am comforted by that Later, " you smart lady"...............Andrew

That's funny. In my previous post, I was going to apologize for how disorganized my thoughts were. I've been on pain meds since my two surgeries in January and again a week and a half ago, and I know my brain's not working well. It just sort of cuts out on me. So I'm glad to hear I'm still making some sense. Honestly, sometimes I feel like I have no idea what I'm saying. Just bear with me, okay? I used to be a pretty smart person!
