Has anyone else seen this? Jan Report: bin Laden held interestalert.com/brand/siteia.shtml?Story=st/sn/01220000aaa0446a.upi&Sys=rmmiller&Fid=NATIONAL&Type=News&Filter=National%20NewsBERLIN, Jan. 22 (UPI) -- Al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden has been captured, Germany's Die Welt newspaper reported Thursday. The newspaper, on its Web site, cited "unconfirmed reports" as the basis for its report. Bin Laden is the Saudi dissident blamed for the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on New York and Washington that killed nearly 3,000 people. He was believed to be hiding along the Afghan-Pakistan border. I went to both the papers site and UPI and did a search and their is nothing about this. UPI does not even have the article that is being posted on the above site. I don't put much stock in it. Is interesting however.

I do find it interesting however, in that I would not be surprised if Bin Laden IS being held for the Bush "October" surprise. Jan

Oh my, imagine that...another timed little "supposed capture" leaked to the public without a feather's weight worth of credibility! Just the stir it causes will be used by u-nos team to further their puny little platform. They probably fabricated it, the slimey slamislops!

Remember, there was also a suitcase found in that hole that had American money in it, and it wasn't too long before that, that James Baker was sent to Iraq by Bush regarding their "debt.". Now Hussein sits in a prison cell getting better treatment than most of our citizens, and nothing is being said about a trial. Set up? In my mind, you bet. Jan

it's possible bin laden could be captured and is being held uknowingly so that they can extract information out of him using methods that are not so ethical and that don't follow the geneva convention or any other convention for that matter.
and i hope this is the case. you can't tell me his victoms weren't tortured. and eye for an eye...
