i had heard from someone in Florida, after i was discussing that i thought he should organize his sierra club group to pass out voter registration cards w/ attached information on the democratic party to the new citizens at the new US citizen ceremonies - to help get more democrat voters in florida - he told me something to the effect that he already tried that but the folks who run the ceremonies have given priority to conservative groups to do that instead in florida. that they were elbowed out of that opportunity if you will. that sounds like another good newspaper story if someone would be able to find the facts on that... there should be no partisanship at those federal ceremonies.
