This is why we need a new poll, but I dont guess there is a need for it seeing everything is going so well for the draft : Now suppose Hillary Rodham Clinton were to run for the Democratic nomination for president. Suppose the 2004 election for president were being held today, and you had to choose between Hillary Rodham Clinton, the Democrat, and George W. Bush, the Republican. For whom would you vote, Clinton or Bush? Bush 50% Clinton 47% Dont Know 3%

Our choice is not this...
I guess we'll have to write in the following: AL GORE AL GORE AL GORE AL GORE AL GORE AL GORE AL GORE

I still dont understand the whole agenda of elect Gore and draft Gore. I mean, they have had no events, polls, ect in the past months. This is going nowhere. I try to keep things going here with chats and stuff. But I cant do this on my own. It seems if people really want this, they would sacrifice more, but I guess I am wrong. But seriously, if anybody still thinks we are making progress and doing good, you need to wake up.

I agree with you Chris we need a new poll. The latest CNN/Time poll shows every Dem candidate getting closer to Bush. They even included Hillary Clinton. But they didn't include either Gore or even Clark. Why? Because I'd bet both of them beat Bush and the corporately controled media doesn't want that information to get out. www.pollingreport.com/wh04gen.htm

How is Hilary's name getting in? The administrator @ DG indicated a concern with the cost for what they perceived to be an uneffective result. So what I want to know is who the hell put up 1,000 bucks to include Hilary Clinton's name? Especially considering she has unequivocally said she would not run in 2004 and would serve out here first senate term. Meanwhile, a draft Gore movement has been in existance since he announced last December and he has NOT RULED IT OUT, why the hell isn't he being hounded by the media like Wesley Clark (the other draftee)? Somebody needs to give me some answers! I'm getting a little angry over here

Stop pissing around, Chris. There's things going on behind the scenes and that's the reason why nothing public is being done right now. If you don't trust that then there's nothing I can do to help you. As for dolphins: Nobody had to put up 1,000 bucks as the right-wing media joyfully includes Hillary's name for their propaganda. For free. They hope by shoving Hillary down the throat they will a) divide the anti-Bush faction b) distract from the real option Al Gore and c) push for a Hillary candidacy that she herself may be testing through this. As for a) I'm sure they especially try to generate divisions and anger among Gore supporters and judging from this thread it seems to work. Dennis

I agree just like there is support for Dean from the right too.. This is part of the larger scheme in which they hope to DIVIDE & CONQUER..
Remember the CBS poll (nation poll) that showed something like 66% of democrats want a moderate Dem. not a liberal.. Why do we keep focusing on the state polls in which do not include a respresentative sample of the US population? Degree of confidence and margin of error are not aligned to get a accurate statistic of Gore's support should he run...
We cannot let this happen, we must get aggressive about showing our choice and not wavering in any form!

I totally agree with Chris on this one. As I've said on another thread at this forum, I think the evidence that the draft Gore movemet has been hijacked by anti Gore DLC smpathizers who have taken the draft Gore movement no where is very strong. Chris, do you have the link for this particular Hilary vs Bush poll? I think we need to bombard Zogby with requests for including Al Gore's name in their polling. I'd like to be able to cite this particular poll when I write to Zogby. Thanks.

Here's the link to Zogby: www.zogby.com/I agree, I'll try to contact them and see how much it would cost to get Gore's name piggybacked on the next pres. poll they do. If it's $1,000 can we get pledges from people from here at the GSC? I know draftgore is working hard and we are together on this but I want to see more...we can do more.

You guys are looking in the wrong places for your answers.
The answer is inside of you if you decide to look.
This is not a riddle.
Right now I believe it's a good thing that the press is not hounding Gore. Let them push Clark, Hilliary, and Dean. Let the villiage idiots have their day.
This allows Gore to do what he needs to do --whatever that may be. Whatever it is, it is working towards a better world. This is all working in our favor.
The proof will be in the pudding.
I suggest you all keep working just like you are. Try to get more polls. Go to the meetups. Join the Media Watchdog Group. If we do everything in our power to get Gore the Presidency, the rest will take care of itself.
He may not become President, but we can still give him the power he needs to unleash and implement his ideas on this world. This must be accomplished.
There is divine intervention at play. This is coming from a heretic. I don't believe in destiny or miracles. But I do believe we can all work on a higher plane. This is what we all need to do.
Now stop arguing and go meditate. Then you will know your part in this puzzle.

Who are the DLC sympathizers in the Draft Gore movement? If they ARE THERE we need to EXPOSE THEM. Jan

Gore comes out on top EVERYTIME. Therefore, I agree that he should be named in EVERY POLL Sen. Clinton is. I will write to Zogby and request it. Perhaps we all should. Jan "And we can build this dream together, standing strong forever, Nothing's gonna stop us now." Jefferson Starship

This has been done plenty of times already. Been there, done that. Zogby or any other polling institute will not include Gore's name just because we demand it. If, they'll only do it for money. And then when we have it, after spending a thousand bucks, then what? It will just prove the same thing that we proved several months ago with the last poll already. And once again the media will not pay attention. So if you ask me another commissioned poll will lead nowhere.
Jan, don't except re-elect to expose any DLC sympathizers in the DraftGore movement because there are none. Simple as that. Dennis

I had to delete your post reelectgore.
We can't allow you to specifically name people in the draft gore movement as being DLC sympathizers without proof.
Please don't be offended, we enjoy your commentary here.
