The real question is why didn't Newsweek ask about Gore or Clark in their poll.

I'm going off topic a little here.
But I have been wondering how come the media has not taken Gore as a serious contender for 2004, considering the fact they consider Hilliary and Clark (before he said he would consider a draft).
To this day, they have still excluded Gore.
Hmmmmm!
Dolphins4Gore had a plausible explanation.
She said that the media really WANTS Gore to come back. Because that's the political story of the century. It will sell newspapers. So they want to help Gore get back in the race by keeping the heat off of him.
I personally wonder if it has something to do with a guilty consciouss.
I don't know. But I can't figure it.

I still think we should hound these outlets to find out why they refuse to take him seriously on the air and why he is left out of polls when Hilary and WC are included. I don't appreciate the fact that these others with less support in the polls are being added @ no expense and yet Gore supporters have to pay to have him mentioned @ all. I mean, we really are having to push Gore in the media. They definitely are not seeking Gore! I REALLY WONDER ABOUT THIS AND I THINK WE SHOULD PROBE FOR ANSWERS! Our persistance will serve to confirm their presumed assumption that a Gore/Bush rematch would become the political story of the CENTURY!

Yes, it is interesting and very possible. By not mentioning Gore they're taking off the pressure for him, do they not? I'm sure Gore digs that as it gives him all the space and time to work out his plan. Once set it in motion let the media come. Dennis
