My Report from the field: 11/09

Hello everyone,

This all starts from about 3:00 at MTSU. We get our reserved seats and set down. Then around 3:30 Tangy arrives and I talk with her for a while. After that I tallk to Rodney Crumpton who I have known via the web for a while. A little bit later the whole group arrives: Bill, Erin, BDR, and more. It was so great to finally meet everyone that I have worked with! Then Al spoke for an hour and a half. Afterwards, I went down to speak and meet with the big guy. First I told him who I was and that I was from GSC and he said "OH" like he was pleasantly suprised. Then I gave him a personal letter, and a gold like VP lapel pin I had bought off the internet, for a gesture of gratitude. I also asked, can I have a pic with you? So I put my arm around the president and dad took the picutures! At first I didnt think they took, but I guess they did. But it turns out we had black and white film, so today, you will see us in b&W which isnt bad. I will take that over nothing! Also, I asked Al, how do you think we can get the media to switch more from focusing on someone's clothes and the way they act to their message. He told me it all went back to what he was saying earlier. He said that is what people really want to hear. I said that is what I did and he laughed and said yea. Then I said thank you and he said "YOU BET"!

He was so down to earth and great! I will see him again the 25th and it will be awesome too. Now, we must see the other's reports!

Chris, I'd like to know if he reads our posts? Most of what I say here is directed to him personally. Is he hearing us? Please ask him on the 25th.

Your darned right I do! Yall aren't trapped in a situation, and you can actually get to see Mr. Gore in person! That is something I can only dream about. All I want to ask him is if the media outlets will be up and running soon! I love Florida, and there is no doubt about it, but I would leave here jusy for the chance to help Mr. Gore set up Cable & radio outlets to get our message out to the mass audience. My family is moving here from Oklahoma in about 4 weeks, and I miss them! I can't wait to see them. But the ONLY thing that would drag me away from here would be a chance to help Al Gore get the TRUTH out! To me, working for Mr. Gore would be like being drafted into the army. I would HAVE to go! With the future of this nation at stake, my family would HAVE to understand, that to me, Al Gore's efforts to finally bring forth outlets to tell the TRUTH and oppose all this BU$H propaganda is absolutely essential to preserve the "freedom" we have enjoyed for years!

As I speak, BU$H's Republican cronies are planning a filibuster so they can infest the last vestige of our freedom standing. And that is the Federal Court system. If THEY can pack the courts with BU$H loving judges then they will literally tear down the last barrier preventing them from doing whatever they please. They have been circumventing the Judicial Branch of our government for years with repressive legislation like the Patriot Act in order to give them absolute and "iron hand" control of every aspect of our lives! Make no mistake, if they are successful at bringing down the courts then they will be ready to launch a "1984" Orwellian style government completely under their control. It is but one step short of autocratic government. THEIR goal is to do away with evrything including "free elections". The last election proves that is the case. They had "poll watchers" making sure voters cast the ballots THEIR way! It smacks of the old Soviet way of controlling votes. Before you know it, it will be vote OUR way or else! Why don't they just institute "martial law" now?

Because WE are still standing in the way! That's why! Will we have to go back to the mass protests of the 60's? Will we have to depend upon the "Weather Underground" again? I say if the DNC & DLC doesn't get off of their b*tts soon and make a stand then they will make their best efforts in running every aspect of our daily lives. We have come a LONG WAY since the 60's! And I COMMEND AL GORE AND HIS FRIENDS IN MAKING A STAND FOR FREE AMERICA! It has to stop sometime, and WE are the last bastion in the way of BU$H and the Rove Cabal! The Democratic Party MUST DO SOMETHING! And they MUST PAY ATTENTION TO AL GORE!

But I am HAPPY that YOU ALL GOT TO SEE HIM! Our work is neverending! All of us root for you and for AL GORE! We DO make a difference! After his speech, Freepers have been working overtime with new assaults on Gore Supporters. That is because they FEAR the ONE MAN that can take them down! AL GORE! Good luck, and God Bless from those of us in the trenchs taking the daily assault! I AM PROUD OF YOU ALL! I just wih I had "freedom" to do the same...
