I read that article and my interpretation was that he was saying that the media nit picked Gore and they should be tougher on Bush.
Can someone else give their assesment?

When you look at the InterNet as a whole who does it seem to favor more? One person, Albert Gore! The BU$H Republicans spinning wildly right now are the same ones who nit-picked Al Gore. Albert Gore was the "greatest promoter" of the InterNet, but the BU$H Babies made it out like he said he "invented" this media! By the way, he did play a big part in the creation of this free media!  They take over the established media and use radio to disseminate lies & propaganda! They hide facts, and use commando raids to cover up 16 words that BU$H knew was a lie from October of 2002. Oh that's right! I keep forgetting that Hadley lost the Memo, and Rice never got it! One word, MALFEASANCE! First Tenet takes the blame, then Rice! BU$H is the one that needs the FANNY WACKING! Take responsibility for ONE thing in your life Pretzel! Skirting Viet Nam, engaging in alcohol washed, cocaine snorting frat parties that Daddy covered up! Stoned and stupid is no way to go through life son. Someone else has ALWAYS taken the blame for you, haven't they? ;D On a side note, Savage Cabbage you should be ashamed of yourself for making issue of Jessica Lynch! I am sure Delta Force didn't appreciate it either! She is both a "hero" and a "victim"! you just don't like the American focus to be on yellow ribbons and coming "home". I agree. I took it to mean that that raked Al Gore over the coals for his words in an interview that really were true, and did not do the same for Bush, when it was a SOTU speech and turned out to be a lie.
