It is great to see an effort to get Al Gore back into this thing. He remains the only pperson who can attack Bush with credibility and has true compassion for those who need help in our nation. Unfortunately, I am not sure how much success we may have, considering the success of Sen. Kerry so far. The only way to slow Kerry now is to vote for Edwards and attempt to tie up the convention and get enough of the superdelegates to force a draft movement for Gore. At that point, Hillary would also be in the picture and a problem. I generally have a favorable opinion of Kerry, and of Edwards for that matter, but worry about Kerry and his Yale and Skull and Bones background. (Too much like W in this stuff and if half of what I have read about the S&B is true, then that will be a major problem.) I certainly hope and pray that somehow Al Gore can get this nomination and defeat Dubya. We need the real, elected President to take office and clear this mess caused by these fools. >>>> Al Gore speaks truth to power, and that is why the Republicans are afraid of him. Even Republican pollsters were quoted as saying that Al Gore would be the biggest threat to Bush's re-election. ( Of course, you can't re-elect someone who wasn't elected the first time, but some simply prefer to keep their heads in the sand.) I am truly hoping this primary season continues to the end, and that Edwards, Kucinich and Sharpton all hang in there. Oh, what an interesting and historical convention we could have!! Jan

Simply put, no one knows about you guys ...yet. You would be greatly surprised at the warm reception you would get if people knew you are for real. How does a person know that you are for real?
Next, how do I get a more easy to remember password?
disenfranchised voter and former deaniac.

:DOkay, I did it myself, went into profiles and got me a better password. Anyways, I think I like everything here except the dark greenish color -- but I'll get used to it, ok. I'll come back later and post some actual thoughts on the threads, thanks for having me.!
Also, you will let me know if it's alright to spread the word about your effort for Gore, and what is allowed in this regard, please.

Dear bellfacto: Glad you got your password situation straightened out. As for your comment, which I quote below . . . . . . PLEASE . . . do spread the word!!!!!! We are not a secret society or closed organization. The draft Gore movement has been through many reincarnations, of which we are, I suppose, the latest, but we have been struggling to stay afloat and get our message out to people and to Gore so that he understands how much support he still has. Whatever means you have of spreading the word, please do it. Of course, anything you would do under our auspices should be discussed here first, but we welcome any and all true Gore supporters and their ideas. We need to all be united now to try to accomplish our goal. By all means spread the word around and let people know we are here. And if you have any ideas about how to get publicity, etc., please let us know.

Hey Guys, I'm the ex-deaniac who just joined up for Gore. A few minutes ago I left the DeanForum site and it is just sad. I couldn't even post anything at the moment, to them, I got teary, (remember the deaniacs candidate was endorsed by Al Gore, so be gentle on them) and I'd been too busy to get on the Dean site all day and it was amazingly sad how lost they are now, and just since yesterday.
Anyway, I had thought one time of trying myself to recruit some of them, all if I could, ....but now, I'm wondering if I waited too long, ...though I can still try for convincing them, just don't want to appear like a rat leaving a sinking ship. but what is wrong with a rat leaving a sinking ship, though? I'd much rather work toward a goal I believe in than to sit around and moan.
Well I already sound insensitive, probably. Hey now I have another problem. I got my password fixed, and now in trying to pay for this forum, as a starters, the thingie won't take my dollar amount, and I do have a Pay Pal account. Help!

Hey Dave! Thanks for coming and joining us! Also thanks for donating and helping pay for our forum here. I am not sure what the problem is on the donation. If you could explain it better, some of our members like ErinB could help. She has been gracious in the past and donated, so she would know. Again thanks for coming, and welcome to the club. We know how you feel right now, we have been through ups and downs of plenty the past year and a half.

Dave--Somehow I would think that Dean should give all those "lost" Deaniacs more guidance than he has. I don't blame them for feeling bereft. They've lost their leader, and now they don't know where to turn. Hmmm . . . that's exactly how we've felt since Dec. 2000!
Since Gore endorsed Dean, it makes sense to me that Deaniacs would endorse Gore. I've posted a few times on the Dean site since Dean's withdrawal, but I've had few responses. If you've been a frequent poster over there, perhaps you'd have better luck.
Please do whatever you feel comfortable with on Gore's behalf.

You are also among people here who know how you feel about their leader. I am just thankful that Mr. Gore has remained in the political arena, and has given us such truthful empassioned speeches about issues we need to hear about. Regarding helping here, if you feel confortable writing letters, doing research, or simply getting out the word about this PAC in your own way, that is great. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Jan

:DGotcha. Will Do. Tonight the Deaniacs are in better spirits cause finally a letter came down from Dean stating that he will announce on March 18th, the new plan. To work on taking back america. I don't know. After the Joe Trippi thing and all, it's a wait and see for a lot of us, even with the letter from Dean. What sticks in our craw with Dean is him telling us we need to stand behind the nominee whoever it is. Since 99.8 percent of deaniacs hate Kerry nearly as much or as much as Bush, that's a tough pill to swallow. You guys are really special if you've hung with Gore all these mos and years since 2000. I'll be back shortly , okay?

Did it! paid a donation for the forum ad or something? anyway I paid 6.99. for a month. So you understand how we deaniacs... I mean they, feel. One question? How is Tipper these days? She is number one in my book. Is she okay with her husband getting back into politics for real?

I like my picture the best! Ha Ha!
I mean, tipper and Gore are soooo goodlooking! Okay, here is some encouraging words for you. there are people at the dean camp who take up for and defend al Gore. Fact is, a good deal of the people over there were for Gore, originally, and are only now fully realizing how the election was stolen from him. See, we went through the same in a similar fashion when Kerry's people did the nasty with the attack ads against Dean, paid for "Under-the-Table" by the crooked congressman Torrecelli, to promote Kerry. On the eve of the Iowa and NH primaries, no less. Course, you know the rest, how the media played the "scream" 1600 times in one day...

Fabulous photograph of the real President and First Lady and the genuine kind of people we want to represent our country and family values. In regards to the media, I think we need to take a stronger initiative to get our information resources together and get it accessible to the public somehow. One thing that we could do at this moment, is place requests to democracynow.org (Amy Goodman), worldlinktv.org, and fstv.org (freespeechtv), to air the voting fraud films and also gore's speeches. We need to increase the number of requests as much as possible now. Even if it only gets to people with satellite dishes, it needs to at least be broadcast as many times as possible to fight against the odds. We need to put our heads together on how to increase public exposure. We have not done all that we can yet to spread the word and expose the truth. In order to break the media-driven-image of Gore being stiff and boring, nothing could be more of a myth-buster than Gore himself speaking out this last year, and we can not let them deny access and get away with it.

I wish I had a crystal ball and could see ahead to what Dean's announcement is going to be on March 18th about his plan to take America back. Can you imagine, oh fellow faithful Gore supporters, if the plan had to do with Gore getting in? Oh, I know it's too much to hope for, and why would they wait until March 18th when all the delegates will already have been locked up in the big March races, but you really have to wonder what Howie's got up his sleeve. Sigh. We'll just have to wait and see and keep doing what we've been doing. And Chris--One by one, the best smileys are disappearing. What's up with that? First we lost the little blue guy who was lecturing people. He was my favorite. Then we lost the one whose hair stood up on end. How are we supposed to express ourselves without these little guys?
